Whether it’s horns or tails and fins I love “Twisting” swirls and curves and adding delicate details by using the chicken wire in a slightly different way. 

All of these techniques came together when “twisting” Coral. With a tightly curled tail, topped with little spines, sweeping fins, gills and a punky top knot, this unusual little sea creature was a perfect subject for me to “Twist”. 

Unusually for, me the base came before the subject! On a trip to my local aquatic centre to select some plants for our newly dug garden pond, I found this lovely chunk of rock. The rock reminded me of coral formations and I thought it would make a perfect base for a “Twist”.  I hope you will agree I was right!
