Chickens – 2018

Twisted for Mums 80th Birthday

Mum loved her little flock of chickens. She loved them following her around the garden at Pant, grubbing up worms beside her as she gardened . But they did make an awful mess of the lawns! 

Perhaps some cleaner ones would be an answer for her new garden in Colwall. 

Maurice, the cockerel and chickens Mildred and Martha were hatched. 

My second project, twisted relatively quickly with spiked feathers and copper wattles and combs, kept a secret until they were unveiled from crinkled pink tissue on her birthday morning!
