My brother in law Pauls pride and joy is his large aquarium of tropical fish. Many years ago, with Paul’s birthday fast approaching, my daughter Jess modelled him a pair of fish out of clay by way of a token to represent his birthday present, a pair of clown fish, which obviously couldn’t be posted!
In a similar vein I “Twisted” Spike, a lion fish, to represent his Christmas gift this year.
Jess’s clay fish are still proudly displayed in the downstairs bathroom . I can only hope Spike is around for as long and it would be nice if he had a slightly more glamorous home than the downstairs loo!
