Those that know me will also know that bases are my nemesis. 

Bubble has been complete for sometime now but I was never 100% happy with the base. Originally made from a round glass vase filled with glass nuggets and resin, the base looked too heavy and didn’t have the final effect of bubbles in water that I was aiming for. 

A trip to the bric a brac stall at the local village fete in the summer revealed a chunky glass candle holder, my base was found. Ironically mum had donated it to the bric a brac stall earlier in the week, so rather than get it for free, I paid the princely sum of £1!  A bargain I think you will all agree!
